Everything in here is entirely confidential, nobody can go in without a warrant, your leaders will never be peeking in on your life. Anything illegal in a past life index directory can never be used against you, only you carrying on with this illegal activity in this life can be used against you, however obviously it opens doors within the investigation.
Nobody can ever request access to your government records. We're introducing the standard that even within a committed relationship "Can I see? Can I see your past life government records?" is a weird thing to ask don't even do it, if somebody wants to show you they'll show you.
Misuse of the program will be tolerated but discouraged, you won't get in trouble for using it as temporary hard drive space, it's your property and every little thing you do with it besides hacking it to allow for other file types is within your rights. But don't, that's dumb, use a flash drive for these things, it's the future you have a ridiculous amount of data storage space there's no reason to use the program in this manner.
Displaying somebody else's public files on the internet without their permission is always illegal, you are looking at potential jail time. Telling people within their life about these public files is playing with it, unless of course these people are also privy to their soul identifier. Pressing charges is generally your option, however we understand how the social intimidation games work, sometimes legality will go over your head for you.
If we find you hacked the software of the program to upload unpermitted file types, you get hit with a massive fine no matter how many lives ago you did it. We'll justify this with you fucked with the eternity system so we get to punish you wherever along your eternity we find it. Otherwise it would simply be far too rampant, there's going to be all sorts of programs you can download that will do it for you. Creating one of these programs, obviously, comes with jail time. "Why even be so passionate about file types if it's my property?" Because that isn't what it is for, it belongs to you, but it is your life not your hard drive, otherwise all this database is is an ever growing eternity mess of every single pointless file you one day find on your hard drive and don't even remember what the fuck it was for, just a big fat eternity global collective messy hard drive. It's the only thing we can do to attempt to restrict it to format and emphasize it is for your life while maintaining your freedom.
If after you are dead, we pick up on the fact that there is an unpermitted file type in your directory due to you hacking the software, the file will be condensed down to it's programming or binary encoding and it will remain in your database as a text file, this database belongs to you and there's nothing we can do about it.
Attempting to hack into the databases can easily go as far as bringing you a death sentence, this is the program that holds all of our eternities together, while you'll never be able to break it, there are quintillions of offline backups, just for ever thinking you can touch it you are going to get fucked.
